Support Us

Yes, this is the page where we beg politely entreat you to spare some  change.

Here’s why:

  • We want to tell amazing stories. Good stories involve conflict, or thrills or some degree of risk. These kinds of endeavours cost money.
Though we saved money for travel and lodging, we don’t have enough for all the  activities we could embark on in each country.
  • We have a project where we want to see how a little but of money — say, $5 to $20 USD — can make a difference in the life of someone who earns less than that in a day. We alreay have $100 in donations from friends, but want to expand the kitty. We’ll post more on this later as we move on to poorer nations.
  • We want to go places and do things suggested by readers, things that may not have been in our original plans.
  • We’d like to upgrade the site eventually, with nicer photo galleries that don’t take you away to Flickr.
  • We’d like to invest in a new camera lens that takes breathtaking HD video.

If you enjoy our content and would like to encourage us, please donate any amount by PayPal or credit card by clicking on the button below.

We’re monumentally grateful for your help.
