Bob Blumer e os frutos do mar
Bob Blumer é um maluco, e portanto, meu chefe-celebridade favorito. Quando fomos convidados para um evento promovendo o turismo da Colúmbia Britânica onde ele era o apresentador, não tivemos outra alternativa a não ser comparecer.
Ele não cozinhou nada, o que foi decepcionante. Mas graças à ele, nós aprendemos o que é um geoduck e que molho holandês é o condimento perfeito para as ostras.
Também decobrimos que são produzidas na província deliciosas cervejas artesanais e cidras. O evento acabou cumprindo sua missão: temos certeza que a Colúmbia Britânica leva a culinária a sério.

Bob e eu: da mesma forma que Barry White é “pai” de milhares de crianças, Blumer me ajudou em inúmeros e inesquecíveis jantares. Ele pareceu gostar de ouvir isso.

Too bad about the Australian contest. Do you think it was fair? I would like to see the winner’s output. They will be attacked by salt water crocodiles during their trip. They will barely scape just to be arrested by a band of rogue kangaroos.
Ah, this brought back memories. Of living in Vancouver (where I was for 8 years) and the incredible sushi there. And, of my second PR job where Bob Blumer was good friends with my boss, and a regular fixture in our office and at events (long before he was a fixture on TV). See Roberto? Hello Aftab,thank you a lot for your comment! Uh it soduns really like a difficult thing to get the Pakistan Visa from any other place than home. We will try again in Kyrgyzstan anyway, maybe we will be more lucky. Because I would really really like to cycle the Karakoram Highway and get to know a part of this country and it’s people.I really hope we can make it. Have a great day! Annika
